This Friday we will be supporting the fight against childhood cancer.  Two of our own school families have been affected by the disease.  Your child is encouraged to bring pennies to donate for the cause and also to wear green.
Despite the change in time, most of our students were up early and joined us for singing last Sunday.  Their music was praise to God from the heart.  Thank you for your help parents!

TUESDAY:
Reading - We are in our new set of reading books.  Unit 1 spelling list from More Adventures of the Superkids was sent home today.  To help the students with the words, we will be practicing one special word each school day beginning tomorrow.  Ask your child each evening what the special word was for the day. : )

THERE ARE LENTEN SERVICES TOMORROW AT 3:30 AND 6:30.

WEDNESDAY:
Christ Light - Read "Saul Disobeys God" with your child.  Review Genesis 39:9.

THURSDAY:
Reading - Help your child to practice reading pp.6 - 16, "In Case of Rain".  Maybe you could help your child to try to make or play one of the suggested activities. Do you have any other special rainy day activities? Make sure your child's book has a cover on it.
