The week of our class trip has arrived.  This Friday we will be going to Mulberry Lane Farm.  Each child will need to bring a lunch and a drink.  Please be sure that everything is disposable.  Drink boxes are great.  A soda is really too big for little tummies.  Also, please send along a sturdy sack or pillow case in which your child can carry his pumpkin home.  Be sure to dress him for the weather.  Parents who have signed up to meet us at the farm and would like to carpool should be to school by 8:15. You might want a sack for your pumpkin too.
     Look for two notes to be coming home.  One will ask for your help in sending some items for our science unit on sound.  The other will give your child's school generated password for using Spelling City to study our spelling units words.
     Thank you to those who have sent stickers and snack bags.  We can always use them.

MONDAY:
Christ Light - Read "The Parable of the Farmer and the Seed".  Review Romans 10:17.
Math - Lesson 21B

TUESDAY:
Reading - The Unit 3 spelling list was sent home today.  Spend a bit of time helping your child to get to know the words. Make use of a Unit 3 game on the Spelling City website.
Math - Lesson 22B

WEDNESDAY:
Christ Light - Read "The Parable of the Weeds and the Wheat" with your child.  Help him to review the part of the Third Article that we highlighted in class.
Math - Lesson 23B

THURSDAY:
Reading - Help your child to review the story "Fiddlesticks!". (pp.32 - 41) You could easily play a fiddlestick game with the Unit 3 spelling words. : )

TOMORROW IS OUR CLASS TRIP.  PRAY FOR NICE WEATHER!
