WELCOME TO OUR FIRST GRADE BLOG SPOT!

Are you ready for SNOW?  The forecast has that word in it a few times for this next week.  Please be sure to send mittens, hats, and boots when the white stuff appears.
Beginning this week the first graders will each need 10 dimes for math class.  I will send a snack baggie to send them in.  They will be returned on the last day of school.
Our Social Studies lesson talked about the Chinese New Year last week.  I told the children that we will try using chop sticks for our snack time on Tuesday just to see what it is like to eat like a Chinese child.  I do have enough sets that each child may have his own.  I will send the chop sticks home with each child on that day.  Maybe you would like to try them.  : )
Look for a note being sent home this week about making a surprise Thanksgiving package for one of our former FLS students.
HAVE A FUN FILLED WEEK!
